Panels

Applications not open yet! Follow our social media for announcements.

Thank you for your interest in hosting a panel! Panels for furry cons cover a wide range of topics, including 18+ content. Topics of frequent interest are anything related to being a fur, Meet & Greets designed to meet new people, drawing, sharing artwork, stories, and more! We also encourage panels relating to media, card games, tabletop games, world and language history and many, many other topics. If you have a panel submission, please submit your ideas below!

Perks & Benefits

Every panel host (and up to two named co-hosts) will receive a special panelist ribbon. Additionally, for every 4 confirmed hours of panel material provided, the named host(s) of the panel will be granted a weekend badge to the next year’s convention. This is a slight change from previous years, and we are hoping this change will help encourage new ideas and panels submitted.

Important Information

Number of Hosts

Panel hosts are limited to one host and up to two co-hosts (three people total) listed in the Con Book. If you cannot name all hosts when you submit your panel, you will need to send an email (events@anthroeiou.org) including the names BEFORE con starts. This is to maintain a consistent list of who receives the free weekend badge to the next year’s convention. Only a max of 3 hosts per panel will receive this perk.

No Food or Drinks

Under no circumstances are panels allowed to include the serving of food or drinks. Doing so is a direct violation of contract, and can jeopardize the con’s good standing with the venue. Slideshows, discussions, or videos about food are acceptable, as long as there is no physical food accompaniment.

Bring Your Own Supplies

The con will not provide any tools needed for a panel to occur. This includes technology (outside of the established AV setup), paper and writing utensils, or internet access (WiFi or Ethernet). If you require some level of additional support, please email events@anthroeiou.org.

If you would like to provide a kink related panel, please be prepared to provide ALL of your own equipment and safety gear.

Room Options

We have 4 options for panel room types. When you submit a panel, please note which of these formats you would like to use. If for whatever reason we cannot accommodate that request directly, we will reach out and work to find a solution.

  • Theater: Projector and screen at the front, rows of chairs for watching the panel. Best for slideshows, Q&As, and gameshows/quizzes.
  • Rounds: Round tables with chairs. This setup will not have AV equipment, so it is best suited to Swaps and Meet & Greets.
  • Classroom: Rectangle tables with chairs, with a projector and screen at the front. Best suited for demos, teaching, and similar topics.
  • Large scale, Empty: Large empty room, usually has AV equipment as well. Good for open space demos, such as rope/small scale kink and dances.

NSFW Panels

Yes, we accept 18+ and other NSFW panels! We accept a decent range of topics. If you are uncertain if your topic is acceptable, but would like to provide a panel for us, please email events@anthroeiou.org. The Events teams will respond and work with you in order to find the best rating for the panel.

Code of Conduct

All panelists also agree to follow our Code of Conduct.
